So you’ve planned your holiday to Noosa – we’ve put together some of the top free activities for the whole family to enjoy in the area.  Hastings Street is at the heart of any visit to Noosa, with Main Beach taking centre stage, however there is much more to see and do in the area.   Below are our top picks.

1. MAIN BEACH NOOSA

Noosa’s Main beach is the perfect family beach –  close to all the Hastings Street shops and restaurants. The beach has beautiful white sand and you are able to hire  paddle boards, canoes or beach umbrellas if required.

2. NOOSA NATIONAL PARK

The magnificent coastal walk is an easy 11 klms round trip.  You may be lucky enough to spot koalas in the trees or dolphins in the ocean.  This walk has long been voted one of the best walks you can do in South East Queensland.   Why not pack a picnic and stop at one of the many small beaches along the way.

3. HASTINGS STREET

Hastings Street has long been the iconic shopping and restaurant strip. Enjoy a coffee at one of the many cafes and watch the world go by or indulge in one of the many fantastic restaurants for lunch.

4. NOOSA RIVER, NOOSAVILLE

The Noosa River is a perfect place to take the family, with the walking track and grassy picnic spots ideal for lunch.  There are also loads of water activities, cafes and restaurants.

5. NOOSA FARMERS MARKETS

Locally sourced, homegrown produce. Held each Sunday morning – a huge array of goodies guaranteed to tempt your taste buds.

6. NOOSA MARINA MARKET

Noosa Marina art, craft and local product markets operate every Sunday from 8am to 1.30pm with live music from 10am on the Noosa River.

7. LAGUNA LOOKOUT

Experience the Noosa National Park’s amazing beauty from above at the lookout –  offering outstanding views of the coast, the Noosa River mouth and nearby waterways.  Only 5 minutes from Hastings Street.
